Pricing questions
Straight answers about what you pay and when.
- Do I have to pay to receive a credential request?
- No. If a customer asks you for your insurance, clearance or licences through Vendorpass, you can receive the request and respond with your documents for free. Taking part in someone else's workflow never costs anything.
- When does a service provider upgrade?
- When you want Vendorpass to manage your credentials for you. The paid plan adds the full Business Record and Credential Vault, expiry monitoring, employee certifications and a Business Passport you can share with every customer.
- When does a hiring organization upgrade?
- When you work with more than three vendors, or want Vendorpass to collect and follow up on credentials for you. The paid plan adds unlimited vendor tracking, requirements per trade, automated collection and expiry reminders to your vendors.
- We're a general contractor. Do we need two subscriptions?
- No. General contractors are hired by owners and hire subcontractors of their own. One subscription, $99/month or $999/year, covers both sides: your own credentials and your vendors.
- Why isn't the Business Passport in the free plan?
- The Business Passport is a permanent link that stays current as your documents change. Keeping it current takes the monitoring and storage included in the paid plan. Free members can still respond to every request they receive.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans run to the end of the paid year and are not renewed once cancelled. Either way, your account returns to the free plan and your public directory profile stays in place.
- What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
- Only how you pay. Both include everything in the paid plan. Annual billing is $999 CAD a year, which saves $189 compared with paying $99 CAD a month.
- Does the price change with the size of my team?
- No. The price is $99 CAD per month, or $999 CAD per year, for your business, with unlimited team members.
- What's the catch?
- None. We skipped the sales team, the onboarding project and the contractor fees. What's left is the software: unlimited vendors, automated collection, expiry reminders and audit history.
- Which provinces are supported?
- Ontario first, with British Columbia and Alberta next. Vendorpass is jurisdiction-neutral by design: credentials such as workers' comp clearances use the right name for each province, so the same record works wherever you operate.
